The Division: Heartland – free to play game coming soon

Ubisoft has announced a new free to play instalment of The Division series: Heartland

Developers Red Storm Entertainment is developing a new game in The Division series. Currently, there aren’t too many details available but here’s what we know so far about The Division: Heartlands.

Release date

We know that the game is set to release in 2021/22 for Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. It’s also stated that the game will come to the cloud eventually which would be great news for Stadia. Ubisoft has shown Stadia plenty of support in the past so fingers crossed.

Gameplay

So far there is no confirmation on what sort of gameplay we can expect from Heartland but developers Red Storm entertainment have a history of great Tom Clancy titles.

According to Ubisoft, the game promises to be “an all-new perspective on the universe in a new setting”. This ties into the expansion of The Division universe into other forms of Media. With a new movie on the way as well as a novel currently in the works.
