Stadia product head John Justice leaves Google

John Justice, the product head for Google Stadia leaves amidst personnel changes

Since 2019 John Justice has been product head at Google Stadia. He was primarily involved in managing the experience of customers and making announcements for upcoming features.

Stadia has recently moved away from making announcements way in advance of release in an attempt to avoid making promises that prove difficult to deliver on.

Stadia recently confirmed that John Justice had left as part of a restructuring of staff at Google. The restructuring also includes a number of less well-known executives from various departments including Payments and Lead assistant.

Google currently employs 139,995 people as of 2021. According to a comparison of LinkedIn profiles for Google and Stadia, over 200 of those Google employees are part of the Stadia team, though this is likely a very Conservative estimate at this time.

Google confirmed John Justice’s departure from the Google Stadia via 9to5Google.

We can confirm John is no longer with Google and we wish him well on his next step.
