Resident Evil Re:Verse Is delayed till this Summer
Resident Evil Re: Verse is the competitive multiplayer mode for Resident Evil and was slated to launch alongside Resident Evil Village on May 7th, however, Capcom emailed the “Resident Evil ambassadors” announcing that Resident Evil Re:Verse would be launching in Summer rather than May 7th. The email did not go into any specific release date other than summer.
Capcom gave no details as to why Resident Evil Re:Verse was delayed till Summer. Capcom recently announced that it would be extending the Resident Evil Village demo to allow more players the time to jump in and give it a go.
Resident Evil Re:Verse allows players to battle it out as either the heroes or villains, downed players will also become bioweapons that attach to other players. There have been several beta tests for the mode, which you can check out here.
