Google Stadia is now available via the web browser on Android
Last month Google announced that they added a search bar to the Web browser version of Stadia, as well as that they also updated the UI for the web version of Stadia. Now they also mentioned that they were working on a couple of other features one being the ability to access Stadia via the web browser on Android, you can check that article out here.
Well, today it seems that the ability to access Stadia via the web browser on Stadia is now live, you can check out a screenshot of what it looks like below. Now currently it doesn’t seem that you can play any games via the web browser version on Android and when trying it tells you to launch it via the app, so it could be a case of it slowly rolling out.
Now the main difference between the web browser version and the Stadia native app is that it allows you to access everything that is available on the web browser version on Stadia, such as the ability to search for games, as well as, the ability to see your time played. Hopefully, these features end up making their way to the app version soon. However, this just adds another way for users to access Stadia, which we are all for.
