Chorus Developer confirms working with Gen 2 Stadia Blades
Update – Rod Oliviera reached out to Stadia Source with a statement that you can check out.
No, I did not confirm 2.0. What I did was to talk about the rumored specs and tie that with my line of thought. As we develop our games at the max potential of a platform, if 2.0 is indeed confirmed, we’ll be happy to explore all the potential the platform has to offer.

A while back we spoke about how Ray Tracing was teased to be coming with Chorus. However, currently, as it stands Google Stadia does not support Ray Tracing. Meaning this would be a gen 2 Stadia feature.
Now we have seen gen 2 Stadia rumours floating around for a while, with developers apparently already having their hands on gen 2 server blades. Well, it seems these rumours could be true as a developer from Chorus has confirmed that gen 2 of Stadia blades exist. This was all spoke about when being interviewed by Stadia Estado, which is a Spanish Stadia News channel. You can check out the interview below.
Now what is also interesting to note is that the developer also mentioned that that gen 2 is as powerful or even more powerful than the current-gen consoles.
Now until Google confirm anything about Gen 2 Stadia server blades existing, we recommend taking this with a pinch of salt.
